In the Performance Program, School of Rock Portland students learn harmonies, musicianship and how to perform in an authentic rock show environment. Our shows each center on a theme, and the students spend time delving into the catalogs of certain artists, styles and periods of rock music. Past shows have featured very well received student perfomances in: Pink Floyd's The Wall, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen (David Lee Roth era - of course), AC/DC, best of the 80s, Punk Rock, Devo, Frank Zappa, Queen, and many many more fun and exciting programs.

All student musicians enrolled in our Performance Program will receive:

Weekly private music lessons
Three-hour band rehearsals to prepare for the rock concert
Enhanced learning in key areas such as stage performance, harmonies, musicianship and more
